Surfing is nature, and playing with the elements. The wonderful beach environment seems self-evident, but it isn’t. To ensure future generations can also enjoy the beach, the waves, and our world, The Shore goes to great lengths in its sustainability principles. This is how we approach life ourselves, but also how we like to do business, with and thanks to the elements.
The Shore is a surf school where you grow together. Personal attention is paramount in our lessons. Our instructors’ years of experience and ideal location in the Netherlands’ best surfing spot ensure you’ll experience the ultimate thrill of surfing in no time!
Already have some experience and prefer to practice on your own? No problem, we have plenty of equipment!
Not enough waves? Scheveningen’s new boulevard is the perfect spot for a longboard ride, but we also have our own skate ramp where you can practice your own tricks.
Surfing is all about a healthy lifestyle. At The Shore, you’ll find a simple and pure menu. The dishes and drinks are prepared with great care. Everything we serve is organic and refined sugar-free.
We take our specialty coffee and pancakes very seriously and are a great foundation for your surf session. When you get out of the water, there’s a fresh smoothie waiting for you, or one of our various beers on tap or in the bottle.
Events & Agenda
There’s a lot happening at the shore. We have a community kitchen every Tuesday evening, host club nights, and occasionally have live music. Plenty to do!
Want to organize something yourself? That’s possible too. You can create your own event with us. Create something via this link. Then we can work together to make your event a success.
